In April 2022 NEW LAYER was the proud partner of the Red Bull rail yard snowboarding event in Austria. The rail yard event is especially exciting because the best snowboarders in the world go head-to-head until a winner is crowned. This year, there were a ton of creative and great new tricks that you don't even get to see at the Olympics.  "The level was insane, there were so many brilliant tricks," said double Olympic champion Anna Gasser.

Even though it may not seem obvious at first, it is as important to protect yourself from UV rays when skiing or snowboarding as it is in the summer. On the mountains, you are closer to the sun and less UV radiation is filtered out by the atmosphere. In addition, snow reflects sunshine twice as much as water does.

This year, for the first time, we provided all riders with NEW LAYER high performance sunscreen so they could fully concentrate on the railyard and their tricks.
